Maltese dance teacher Astrid Gollcher completed two dance-related qualifications this summer: A fellowship in Modern Theatre and a degree in Dance Education.

Gollcher has just returned from the UK after achieving fellowship status with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance after sitting for the final teaching examination with the dance association.

Gollcher graduated from the University of Surrey last June after completing a BA (Hons) in Dance Education. In 2000, she graduated from the University of Malta with a degree in Communications. Gollcher's dissertation focused on teaching dance in Malta. Her tutor was Scilla Dyke.

Gollcher is presently principal at Incite Motion school of dance, where she offers dance training and teacher training in classical ballet and modern/jazz. For more information call her on 9945 2545 or e-mail astrid@incitemotion.com.
