A knighting celebration was recently organised by the Malta Tourism Authority, during which the Grandmaster 'knighted' each summer university participant at the Carmelite Priory Museum in Mdina.

This was attended by 45 students from 19 countries, who spent two weeks in Malta for the event, entitled 'Knighted in Malta: The Final Crusade', organised by AEGEE-Valletta.

The participants spent two weeks discovering Malta's attractions including the Three Cities, Valletta, Gozo, and the Blue Lagoon. They also visited various beaches, where bar-becues were held.

Parliamentary Secretary Chris Said hosted a reception for them at the Grand Hotel in Mġarr. They were also welcomed by Permanent Secretary for Social Policy Frans Borg.
