Exhibition of miniature maps of Malta, Gozo

An exhibition of more than 90 miniature maps of Malta and Gozo as well as plans of Valletta and the Three Cities is currently on show at the Exhibitions' Hall of the Gozo Ministry.

The exhibition, organised by Heritage Malta, with the collaboration of the ministry, was inaugurated by Gozo Minister Giovanna Debono. The unique collection comes mostly from the Albert Ganado Map Collection, acquired by Heritage Malta last year, but includes other maps and books from the national collection and private collections.

The exhibition is open daily between 8.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. and on Saturdays between 9 a.m. and noon. Tomorrow, it is open from 9 a.m. to noon. After October 1, the maps will be on display between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Entrance is free.

A catalogue of the exhibition by Albert Ganado is on sale from the exhibition venue.
