Serious companies in Malta do exist

I refer to the article Business Directory Scams: MEP Urges Vigilance (September 11).

As a leading Maltese company involved in the production of a directory that provides a nation-wide service to consumers and businesses alike, the Yellow Pages (Malta) Ltd would like to disassociate itself from any insinuations linked to business directory scams as quoted in the article.

What MEP Simon Busuttil says is correct: scams do exist out there and business people need to be careful about them. These scams give the industry a bad name. But this does not automatically conclude that all companies producing directories are out to con people.

Yellow Pages (Malta) Ltd has been in business for 11 years. However, we would like to point out that there do exist serious companies in Malta that work to professional unequivocal ethics and Yellow Pages (Malta) Ltd is one of them.
