The River Thames has been erased from the new London Underground map after transport bosses decided the design had become too cluttered.
The redesign of the famous Tube map also leaves out the zones which show how much passengers will pay for journeys and the grid system for finding stations.
A Transport for London spokesman said: "We regularly review the Tube map to take into account changes to the network.
"As the transport network has expanded over the years, the map has become increasingly cluttered and has lost the simplicity which made it so effective.
"Customer feedback, particularly from those less familiar with London, has been that this has made the map progressively more difficult to use."
