DEBATTISTA. On September 15, RAPHAEL, of Sliema, aged 90, passed away peacefully at Villa Messina, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his son Sylvan and his wife Sue, his daughters Antoinette and her husband Austin Darmanin, and Kristine and her husband Ralph Kerr, his grandchildren Ian and his wife Julia, Duncan and his wife Sarah, Julian, Jonathan and his wife Rachel, Neil and his wife Lysanne, Pamela and her husband Leon, his great-grandchildren Mia and Noah, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Villa Messina tomorrow at 1.30 p.m. for Jusus of Nazareth parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m. followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Malta Hospice Movement would be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

MUSCAT. On September 13, ANTHONY W., aged 89, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Mourned and missed by his dearest wife Therese, his children Leslie and his wife Tonia, Doris, Ben and his wife Isabel, Louise, widow of Anthony Pace Bardon, Joe and his wife Frances and Antoinette and her husband Walter, his grandchildren Fleur and her husband Kevin, Joy and her husband Malcolm, Andrew, Diana, Nicola, Michael, Christina, Roberta, Mark and James, his beloved great-grandchildren Timmy and Max, his brother and sisters, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2 p.m. for St Cajetan parish church, Ħamrun, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. MUSCAT. On September 14, at Mater Dei Hospital, EMMANUEL. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Vincenza, his children John, Bernadette and her husband Publius, George and his wife Rosalie, his grandchildren Adrian and his wife Jeanne Michele, Anabel and George, his brother Salvu, his brother-in-law George, nephews and nieces. Mass praesente cadavere will be said today at 2.30 p.m. at St Helen's Basilica, Birkirkara, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors.

ZAMMIT BRIFFA. On September 15, at St James Hospital, Sliema, PHILIP, aged 73, passed away peacefully, after a short illness bravely endured, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his irreparable loss his wife Carol, née MacCallum, his brothers George and his wife Maryanne, Edward and his wife Helena, his sister Jofy and her husband Herbert Mainzer, his brother-in-law Desmond and Rosemarie, his nephews and nieces and their children and his many friends. Mass praesente cadavere will be held at Balzan parish church on Friday, September 18 at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to the Malta Hospice Movement would be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
