The world's largest gathering of Volkswagen campervan enthusiasts came together this weekend.

More than 8,000 VW vehicles turned up to this year's Vanfest at the Three Counties Showground, in Malvern, Worcestershire.

Bands - including The Commitments and The Brian Collins Band - headlined the musical entertainment last night, and more than 250 stalls was set up for campers and visitors. The popular cooking in a camper contest returned this year, in which one person, in one hour, must prepare and cook a three course meal to serve two people - in their camper van.

A number of displays took place, including the Well Travelled Transporters, which involved talks from campers who had taken their vans far afield on expeditions around the world.

The first official Vanfest was held in 1994, and has been held annually since.
