Lawrence was a good and a faithful friend. I last met him at Boffa Hospital a couple of weeks ago. His sufferings that he has been through these last few months will surely be rewarded by a great embrace from the Mighty One.
My condolences to his family in such difficult moments.

A true gentleman - a great loss indeed. I had the opportunity to get to know Lawrence about three years ago. He was very excited in doing his much awaited Home Cinema conversion - we spent hours together discussing and drawing all the relative details. I could see his excitement about the whole project every time I spoke with him at our showroom, at his house or over the phone. I feel honored I had the luck in getting to know such a gentleman and a true professional yet a very humble person in nature. Condolences to all the family from all the staff at Doneo Co; Ltd.

Thirty-one years after having Lawrence as a student of mine at the University, over the past year I had the privilege of working with him on the Periti Warranting Board. Despite his medical challenges he continued to work for the advancement of the profession, which has now lost a most worthy member. Sincere condolences to his family.

Really shocked to see an all-time friend and respectable professional leave... In all posts he held, whatever the entity, Lawrence distinguished himself for his humility and integrity - a real gentleman on all counts! I really feel impoverished seeing men like Lawrence departing!
Sincere sympathies to Michelle, Christopher and Staphanie... and to all of us he left behind, may his lifetime example induce us towards the values he lived for - humility and integrity!
May the sincere smiles he showered around be returned manifold to him now by the good Lord who is just and rewarding, far more than we can ever think!

Lawrence was our architect and very instrumental on the project to erect the monument to Pietro Paolo Floriani, in Floriana, in collaboration with the Floriana local council.
……remember that he contributed so much and he stood firm against any obstacles we had to face and thanks to his contribution it was inaugurated on the proposed date.
Thanks for your collaboration..............

Sad day for the local architectural profession. Ironically, the last time I saw Lawrence, was last January at the funeral of another distinguished architect Perit Karmenu Busuttil. Although he had just undergone a major operation he was still there to pay his last respects. Lawrence was not only a highly capable architect with a specialization in structural engineering, but a charming and pleasant person to be around. He also had a great sense of humour which I will certainly miss. Sincere condolences to his family.
