It is now mid-September and the vacation period is nearly over. So what happened to the urgent project to save Għadira Bay? Is Għadira Bay really deteriorating or was it all politics? Nobody ever came up with an appropriate answer and, as usual, all is forgotten. What happened to the Ċirkewwa ferry terminal project? After all, the Gozo ferry terminal was finished with no problem and it looks great.

As usual if you delay a project, it will go away and people will forget. Sounds like election promises, null and void. The Ċirkewwa ferry terminal needs to be started and finished and if there is any possibility that Għadira Bay is really deteriorating what are the authorities doing about it? Is the government going to let this beautiful beach disappear?

Both projects are very important to tourism and more important to the Maltese citizens. Ċirkewwa needs a decent ferry terminal with decent public conveniences and parking and Malta cannot afford to lose Għadira Bay to political negligence.
