In recent weeks Maurice F. Mizzi has regaled us with a couple of letters showing his great concern with the number of immigrants that are living in Malta. He went as far as saying that he is afraid they will take over our religion and in his latest letter showed concern that they will eventually dictate to us what to do. He even went as far as to say that when it comes to our European partners, we should also consider breaking rules, whatever that might mean. His solution to this problem is that the government should pay them money and send them back. This very simplistic solution has been tried on a small scale but was heavily criticised as many said that more immigrants would arrive to benefit from this scheme.

However, if Mr Mizzi believes that this scheme will work, may I humbly suggest that he puts his money where his mouth is and start a foundation to collect money for his solution to this problem. I am sure that Norman Lowell and his party will back him.
