As it celebrates its 90th anniversary, Citroën will display a wider range of vehicles than ever at the Frankfurt show. The line-up includes two world firsts: the new C3 and the first vehicle in the DS line - the DS3 - and the chic concept Revolte.
The concept car is an ecological, luxury vehicle with a touch of cheek, fitted with a rechargeable hybrid drivetrain ideally suited for both the city and the open road.
Alongside Revolte will be two other concept cars: the C4 WRC Hybrid4, a sporty, ecological vehicle by Citroën Racing, and the exceptional GT byCitroën, which could be produced in a limited run.
Citroën is also displaying the Berlingo First Electric, a vehicle in phase with the needs of fleets in day-to-day use in the city.
This fully electric model will arrive on the market early next year.
Two new generation engines of the HDi line-up are present: the V6 three-litre and two-litre. These high-performance, economical engines, designed to respect the environment, boost performance while cutting fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by between four and 15 per cent, depending on the model. At the same time, the C3 and DS3 ranges include an HDi offering with CO2 emissions of just 99 g/km.
Alongside the two world firsts, the new C3 and DS3, the C-Crosser SUV will be on show with a new interior design, upgraded for enhanced appeal and sophistication.
The vehicle also gains a new clutchless gearbox for greater driving pleasure.
