I remember that until sometime last year I had to go to hospital to collect my prescription tablets. We had to queue up and wait for more than two hours to be given our tablets. Now I can go to my chemist to collect them. I usually take the prescription on Tuesday and am told to collect the tablets on Friday!

Was this the intention, that is, to replace a waiting time of two hours with a waiting time of three days?

My tablets are simple generic blood pressure and cholesterol products.
