CHETCUTI. On September 6, at Mater Dei Hospital, SUNNY, of Sliema, aged 75, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves behind to mourn him his wife Sylvia, his son Jesmond and his wife Rita, Ingrid and her husband Stephen, his grandchildren Kenneth, Bjorn and Diandria, his brother and sisters, in-laws, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital at 9.30 a.m. today for the Santa Maria Addolorata chapel where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 10 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

CONNOR. On September 5, at Mater Dei Hospital, GEORGE THOMAS of Birżebbuġa, aged 77, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves behind to mourn him his wife Lucy, his daughters Adelina and her husband Jim Puryer, Rose, Margaret and her husband Keith Kennedy, and Dorothy and her husband Colin Seaton, his grandchildren Kelvin, Daniel, Joanne, Hayley, Nicola, James, Tracey, Simon, and Matthew, his great-grandchildren George, Lucie, Elliot and Scarlett, his brothers and sisters, Efrem, Patrick, Lily, Connie, his in-laws, Yvonne and her husband Charles Sargent, Doris, widow of Frans Cutajar, and Joseph and his wife Rita residing in Australia, their respective families, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital at 2 p.m. tomorrow, (Wednesday and not today as inadvertently reported by The Times) for St Peter's parish church, Birżebbuġa, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m. followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

ZAMMIT HABER. On September 5, at Mater Dei Hospital, YVETTE, aged 33, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church, following a short illness borne with fortitude. She leaves to mourn her great loss her dear parents Charles and Bianca née De Giovanni, her sister Michelle and Etienne, her niece Francesca and her boyfriend Fabio, her dear fiancé Philip Cauchi, her grandmother Rita De Giovanni, her uncles and aunts, Franz and Agnes, Dennis, David and Johanna, her cousins Patrick and Nicky, Gerald and Janice, Andrew and Davinia, other relatives and her numerous friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8 a.m. for Santa Luċija parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Dear Lord, grant her eternal rest.
