CONNOR. On September 5, at Mater Dei Hospital, GEORGE THOMAS, of Birżebbuġa, aged 77, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves behind to mourn him, his wife Lucy, his daughters Adelina and her husband Jim Puryer, Rose, Margaret and her husband Keith Kennedy, and Dorothy and her husband Colin Seaton, his grandchildren Kelvin, Daniel, Joanne, Hayley, Nicola, James, Tracey, Simon, and Matthew, his great-grandchildren George, Lucie, Elliot and Scarlett, his brothers and sisters Efrem, Patrick, Lily, Connie, his wife's family, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, for St Peter's parish church, Birżebbuġa, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
