Ability Challenge participants experienced their first glitch before they even set foot on the plane when their flight to Milan was delayed by more than four hours yesterday.
The flight was set for 8.30 a.m. but because of unexplained reasons, it was delayed to 1 p.m.
A spokesman for the team said this may mean the challenge will have to be postponed to tomorrow afternoon instead of the morning. He said this would be confirmed once they arrived at their hotel and met with the organisers.
The challenge includes a series of activities, such as water rafting, trekking and off-road biking in aid of Inspire, which delivers educational and therapeutic services to children and adults with disability.
