The Institute of Health and Safety (IHS) has just received the latest results for its students studying on the NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. These show that students in Malta are performing well above the international average, with the majority achieving distinction and credit passes.

The National Examining Board in Occupational Safety and Health is one of the world's leading awarding bodies in health and safety, and that is why holders of the NEBOSH International General Certificate are recognised by employers as having reached a standard which they can rely on.

Those who are successful at this level are able to make significant contributions to health and safety in their companies and organisations, and some go on to further study to become fully-fledged health and safety professionals.

The IHS has been running the course in Malta and in Libya for almost three years. The next course will begin on September 25, leading to examinations in December. There are a few places left. Anyone interested should call the institute on 2132 0689 or 7904 8111.
