Dominican friar consecrated in Albania
Fr Geoffrey Bugeja OP during the consecration ceremony.
A new Dominican friar was today consecrated priest by Bishop Gorg Frendo OP at St Dominic's Church in Durres, Albania.
Fr Geoffrey Bugeja OP has been serving in Albania for the past eight years.
A good number of Durres residents were present for the celebrations together with a number of Dominican friars from Malta and a representation of the Orthodox Church.
This was the first ordination of a Dominican friar in Albania.

Another great day for the Order of Preachers. Congrats to Fr.Geoffrey and his family for such a wonderful occasion. May with the continuing hard work of H.E. Mons.Gorg Frendo O.P. and the Dominican missionary in Albania, the Order of Preachers continue to flourish.
