Chardonnay declared overall winner in Mġarr
Seven boats took part in the Citadel Insurance Yacht Race which set off from the Imperial Gozo Yacht Club, Mġarr, last weekend. The route took skippers round the rock at Mġarr Ix-Xini, over to the Fish Farm and back to the harbour. Chardonnay sped clear of the rest to win line honours ahead of Wacky Wacky. When handicap times were sorted out, Chardonnay was declared overall winner and Illusion II the runner-up. Wacky Wacky was classified third ahead of First Class, Third Time Lucky, Prime Time and Rusty Nail.
