Restoration works at Fort Manoel on Manoel Island are at an advanced stage.

The works were this morning visited by Tourism Parliamentary Secretary Mario de Marco who said that the fort, which started being built in the 1720s at time of Grand Master de Vilhena, would be diversifying the tourism product, providing another location for visitors.
