The picture is of a vacant site in New Windmill Street, Mellieħa... One carries a boundary wall, whereas the other carries loads of rubbish. Months ago I reported the site without the boundary wall to Mepa via its enforcement e-mail address available on its website and also telephonically to the Mellieħa local council.

I received an acknowledgement e-mail from Mepa but nothing more since my follow-up e-mails. On the other hand, the gentleman at the local council asked me whether I knew who the owner of the vacant site was, with a tone implying that I was mad in lodging this report as it belongs to some big head... In the meantime I've seen all sorts of waste dumped in this site and also all sizes of rodents running around.

Note that this street in question is crossed by Sanctuary Street, which leads to Panorama Hotel, meaning a number of tourists pass through this area and see this mess.

But the cherry on the cake is in that New Windmill Street houses the Mellieħa local council office...
