Marsascala woman pleads not guilty to theft

A 46-year old woman from Marsascala is pleading not guilty to stealing three tracksuits and a jacket from Urban Jungle in Mosta.

She is also being charged with breaching the conditions of previous release when she was found guilty of stealing €100.

Sources said the owner of Urban Jungle was having problems with items being stolen and installed CCTV.

When viewing one of the recordings the accused was seen stealing items from the shop.

A few months later, she again called at the shop and was confronted by salesgirls and reported to the police.
