An Irish woman holidaying in Malta was conditionally discharged for six months after pleading guilty to slightly injuring a police officer.

23-year-old Louise McAdam was also charged with slightly injuring a police officer, swearing and disturbing the peace.

The incident happened between 4 and 8 a.m. yesterday when Ms McAdam was in Qawra with her boyfriend and another friend. All three were drunk and one of them jumped onto the private car of a police officer, causing €2,300 worth of damage. The damage was paid for.
