A tree was recently planted in the LWS Animal Park by Razzett tal-Hbiberija founder Janatha Stubbs, to celebrate 20 years since its doors were first opened.
Razzett tal-Hbiberija in Marsascala is a prime mover in the field of disability, helping promote inclusion through its adapted facilities, as well as offering a wide range of services.
It now forms part of Inspire, a joint venture with the Eden Foundation. The Marsascala facilities are now incorporated in all programmes and services. Tutors, therapists and trainers provide an array of services to people with physical and learning disabilities.
Mrs Stubbs, an Inspire trustee, praised the joint venture as the way forward for organisations which aim to help more people by means of collaboration.
In October, Inspire will organise a gala dinner. Anyone who has been inolved with the organisation at any time during the past 20 years is encouraged to attend.
