One can only assume that Tonio Bugeja (August 28) is an employer and not an employee.
I do not know how many people Mr Bugeja employs and I have no doubt that he had to put in a lot of hard work to build his company but what he has to understand is that without a hard-working and dedicated workforce, who all deserve a decent standard of living, he would have nothing to whinge about.
He should also appreciate that a good government is to make sure that the wealth of the country is shared by all the people and not the minority rich, who live in a world that shuts out all but their own.
So while Mr Bugeja sits in his large house, surrounded by expensive commodities or sits on his large boat, he should remember who it is who does all the graft to keep him in his cosy world and fully appreciate that without them (the workers) he would possibly have nothing.
He should fully appreciate that what he has is supplied by the labours of others who also deserve a decent wage to house and feed their families and live a comfortable lifestyle.
