Three Nigerians were arrested by the police Drugs Squad on Wednesday night after they were allegedly caught trafficking cocaine.

A 27-year-old who lives in Marsa and a 20-year-old from St Paul's Bay were found carrying 59 capsules containing a total of 520 grams of cocaine, the police said.

The third, 30, who also lives in St Paul's Bay, was arrested shortly afterwards.

They will be arraigned in the coming days.
