On Monday, I had to go to Mater Dei Hospital for tests. The signs regarding the parking area were misleading and it was not easy to work out the way, even being relatively literate. As I was looking quite lost, a friendly man approached me and asked if he could help. I was happy to accept his help and he was so friendly and accompanied me to where I had to go. His name was Victor Fraccioli, a voluntary helper belonging to the Volserv organisation initiated by SOS Malta.
The tea and coffee etc. served to patients in waiting rooms were also highly welcome.
Congratulations on a well-functioning and much-needed service.
