Melita Mobile has introduced Malta's cheapest rates for local mobile data usage, starting from 10 cents per megabyte downloaded without any time limits on usage and charged in chunks of 1kB.

Customers downloading approximately 100kB will be charged approximately €0.01; this rate applies for both pre-paid and pay monthly Melita Mobile subscribers.

Melita Mobile customers can access their e-mail, browse their favourite websites, or chat via instant messaging through their 3G mobile phones wherever they are in Malta and Gozo.

Customers can now enjoy the convenience of staying in touch 24/7 with full internet access, from anywhere in Malta and Gozo at any time, through a 3G mobile phone.

Last February, Melita Mobile eliminated time windows on pre-paid mobile credit. It is fulfilling its pledge to do the same with mobile internet access without any restricting time windows.
