The saga about the ICT education tender continued this morning with the Infrastructure Ministry saying that the tender evaluation board had appointed two pedagogical experts to report on the pedagogical capability of each applicant.
The Labour Party’s spokesman for Education, Evarist Bartolo, is claiming that the first and second phases of the adjudication process in an ICT education tender were tainted and companies which should have been disqualified were not.
The ministry this morning queried Mr Bartolo’s qualifications which enabled him to judge which of the four companies tendering for the contract, had or did not have the necessary qualifications to run courses in ITC?
It said that Mita would not be evaluating the pedagogical part of the tender itself but had appointed experts in the matter.
Their name and report would be published once the tender was awarded and the appeals period was over.
