The Health Inspectorate within the Department for Environmental Health has today investigated a consignment of just under 200 kilogrammes of ricotta found outside the permitted temperatures.

This consignment, which was intended for a manufacturing plant, was sealed and would eventually be destroyed. Legal action has been initiated against the offender.
