I agree with all that has been written about the works needed and the litter around St Paul's Bay and Buġibba.

A point I'd like to add is that rubbish is left on pavements and at corners by many residents (not all) at any time of the day, especially on weekends. I wrote to this newspaper and to the council about the fact that rubbish is placed under my balcony in Ramon Perellos Street corner with Emanuel Pinto.

The smell is unbearable especially in summer. I think everyone should leave his rubbish for collection near his door and not put it on the corner even if within 10 minutes of collection.

To date the council has still not taken any action.
