The wedding took place on August 1 between Daniel Azzopardi, son of Edward and Josephine Azzopardi, and Katharine Roberts, daughter of David and Caroline Roberts. Nuptial Mass was celebrated at the Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Blackheath, UK. The groom's witness was Michael Calleja, and the bride's witness, Pippa Roberts, who was also a bridesmaid together with Siobhan Copson and Louisa Azzopardi, and Ellie Hetherington as flower girl. Matthew Azzopardi carried out the duties of best man; Anthony Joseph and Terry Conway were ushers. A reception was later held at the Painted Hall, Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich, UK.

The couple are honeymooning in the Amalfi Coast, South Africa and Mauritius.
