I fully agree with Renzo Piano's general layout for Valletta but I feel that there is something missing in the whole project. If you go around Malta and especially in Valletta, you don't see a single statue of La Valette.

During the British rule in Malta, when they decided to build a new entrance in the façade, they incorporated two statues of two great gentlemen who contributed much to Malta and Valletta dressed in armour.

I hope these statues will find a place in the new project.
