CASSAR. On August 20, at Mater Dei Hospital, GEORGE of Żejtun, aged 59, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his children Daniela and her husband Julian Attard Bezzina, and Charlo, his father-in-law Gużeppi Attard, his brothers and sisters, his brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8 a.m. for St Catherine's parish church, Żejtun, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment in the family grave at St Gregory's cemetery in Żejtun. No flowers by request but donations to Dar Nazareth, Żejtun will be appreciated. The family regrets they are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

FERRITO. On August 20, JOSEPH, of Ħamrun, aged 64, passed away peacefully at his residence in Tarxien comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his wife Sofia, his children Suzanne and her husband Manuel, Adel and his girlfriend Elaine, Jaden Joe, Miren and her boyfriend Alan, Martha and her boyfriend Tony Attard, his brothers, sisters, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8 a.m. for the church of the Annunciation, Tarxien, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

SAMUEL. On August 19, at his residence, GEORGE of Paceville, ex-Assistant Director of Education (Special Needs), aged 74, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his wife Nanette, née Salnitro, his daughter Annalise, widow of Mark Lapira, his son Anthony, his sister-in-law Marie Salnitro, his cousin Richard Carbott and family, of Michigan, USA, other relatives and friends. Mass praesente cadavere will be said today at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel church, Paceville, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Millenium Chapel would be appreciated. Special thanks to the doctors and staff at Mater Dei Hospital for their care and dedication.

CASSAR - MARIA, née Gerada. Treasured memories of our beloved mother on the first anniversary of her passing away. Lovingly remembered by her children Minnie, Edgar and Maryrose, Julie and Carm, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, in-laws, relatives and friends. A Mass for the repose of her soul will be said next Sunday, August 23 at 11 a.m. at the Poor Clares Monastery, St Julians. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
