The sign reads blaks out, not illegal's out. It is pure racism. It is aimed at black people. Some people should learn to look beyond the colour of a person's skin.

Firstly I said that I don't agree with the way this guy/gal did his/her petition. Secondly I have no problem with tourists who come here legally be them white, black whatever. Tourists are very much welcome because they leave bread for us to eat, on the other hand illegal immigrants are sucking Malta dry !!!!

am so disgusted with this message who this person wrote on the board. its not a problem of racism its a problem of hatred and ignorance. this blame goes on the 'patriotic' people who try to brainwash others. I am sure that many tourists saw this message and if they change their mind for not spending their holiday here, they are absolutely right!
Few people can be happy unless they hate some other person, nation, or creed."

Edward, this graffiti is very offensive. There are tourists here who happen to be black, they have spent good money to holiday in Malta, can you imagine how they must feel. I have spoken to a few black people here and they like Malta but some people make rude remarks and tell them to go back to Africa. Maltese people are well known for their friendly and warm hospitality, its what brings tourists back year after year don't let a few ignorant people spoil your reputation.

Just to make one thing clear. Do not confuse illegal immigration with racism. I am totally against illegal immigration; however I have absolutely nothing against people being Alien, Asian, Black, Catholic, Gay, Green, Hairy, Latino, Muslim, White, Yellow ( in alphabetical order to be fair) or whatever.

The majority of the Maltese people are feeling the pressure of illegal immigration but rigid laws keep them from speaking. Although I don't agree how this person did his petition, he is however a real patriot and a champion to freedom of speech for saying what he thought regardless of what the minority thinks.

Why should I discriminate against a fellow Maltese? Is that now a crime? Should parents suddenly start preferring other children before their own? Get real.

We all know what happened in UK, with all the liberty some foreigners were given. And we all know the state, that UK is in these days. If you don't, ask any Englishman/woman, and if he/she is honest, they will put you in the picture. They should have listened to what Enoch Powell had to say. He was right. The same will happen here. They are already taking over. Mosques, praying in the streets and recently I have heard of a bar in St.Paul's Bay, where no whites are allowed. Some streets in Qawra are beginning to look like the Bronx back in the seventy's. When in Rome, do like the Romans. You are welcome here, but abide by our rules and leave your jungle ideas behind. If you don't like our ways, please leave. To the ones below: wait until they arrive in your back yard, and then we will see if you change your tune.

An illiterate person is someone who cannot read or write. Me thinks this person texts overmuch!

Judging by the comments, it seems to me that we have many saints on this island.
All of a sudden we are all anti-racist !!!...... but then, when a ship load of refugees comes ashore we find this as a perfect excuse to start grumbling against these people and against the government.
We always boast about our values, but in reality our values change because we are so politically blinded and 'Mad-daqqa nisfnu'.
A bunch of sad moaners, thats what we are.

Shame on this person..I mean...he's even missing a C....
However, a year or so ago, one could note a number Arabic words scribbled on a number of chapels...
Whilst my teachers did do their best to teach me Arabic at school, they were rather unsuccessful.
Has anyone seen this grafitti, and can anyone explain what it was saying?

It is evident that the person who wrote this is an uneducated illiterate racist. He or she is not able to spell black.

The IQ of this perpetrator is so high that he doesn't even know how to spell 'Blacks'. Any expectation on the appreciation of civilisation is thus frivolous.

Babies have no say re the colour of their skin.It is in God's hands. So why some
people discriminate against coloured people?
Coloured children are God's children as well. After all the colour of their blood is red. Stop discriminating.
