A Paola man this morning had his driving licence suspended for six months after he pleaded guilty to driving dangerously and under the influence of alcohol.

Paul Sciberras, 26, also admitted to threatening and resisting a police officer, breaching the peace and using vulgar language in public.

He was also conditionally discharged for one year and fined €465.87.
