Carlo Ancelotti's Chelsea came from behind to beat Sunderland 3-1 last night and make it two wins from two in the Premier League.
Second-half goals from Michael Ballack, Frank Lampard and Deco cancelled out Darren Bent's 18th-minute strike for hosts Sunderland in a match dominated by the visitors.
Bent put the hosts ahead when he steadied himself before firing the ball under Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech.
Chelsea struggled to hit back but they finally came to life at the start of the second half when on 52 minutes Lampard's corner kick took a touch on at the near post for Ballack to force the ball home in the 52nd minute.
Chelsea made their dominance tell in the 61st minute as Drogba was upended by George McCartney for a clear penalty, which Lampard drilled home.
Victory was in the bag for Chelsea when Deco eluded substitute Grant Leadbitter to angle home a delicious right-foot shot from 20 yards.
