66 entries for Junior Eurosong

Sixty-six entries have been made for the Malta Junior Eurosong 2009, PBS said this afternoon. The winner will represent Malta in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2009 to be held in Kiev, Ukraine on November 21.

Early next week, a panel of six judges will select 20 songs to compete in the final of the Malta Junior Eurosong 2009 to be held on September 12. It will be televised live on TVM.

The winning song will be chosen through 50% televoting and 50% jury. The members of the jury on the final night will be different from those of the eliminatory phase.

The 20 finalists will be announced next week.
