Christopher Micallef was honoured last week for achieving the first Maltese doctorate from the Centre for Labour Market Studies of the University of Leicester.

The chief executive officer of the Foundation for Human Resources Development, Joe Gerada, presented a memento to Dr Micallef and said more students were looking at the foundation as the ideal partner to help them move on in their career.
