To find a place to park in Valletta was difficult enough without the Renzo Piano plan. Now it is going to be even worse!

Whether the regeneration of city gate will see 400 parking spaces lost or whether 2,000 spaces will be lost as claimed by the Chamber of Small and Medium Enterprises GRTU, the end result is still the same - more and more people will have to park their car at an enlarged park and ride facility in Blata l-Bajda.

I have no sympathy at all for people who expect their car to be parked a few paces away from their retail outlet, but to walk such a long distance is totally unacceptable.
