Three bids for Dragonara casino

Three companies have submitted bids to take over the operation of the Dragonara Casino in St Julians.

Dragonara Casino Ltd, Tomino Ltd and the Novomatic Peninsula consortium put in the three bids, according to the Department of Information.

The government made a call for applications from companies experienced in casino management that could make substantial capital investment and the required refurbishment, upgrading and modernisation, to improve the casino's competitive stature within the sector.
