Three bidders for the Dragonara casino

Three companies, including the current operators, have submitted bids to run the Dragonara casino.

The Department of Information said the government had sought applications from reputable bidders experienced in the casino management business, that could make substantial capital investment and the required refurbishment, upgrading and modernisation, thus enhancing Dragonara Casino's competitive stature within the sector.

"The Government also aims to ensure that the Dragonara Casino will provide an upscale and unique gaming experience, backed-up by leading edge gaming equipment and technology and excellent customer service."

Submissions were made by Dragonara Casino Ltd, Tomino Ltd and the Novomatic Peninsula consortium.
