Ryanair, Europe's largest low-cost airline, has announced the introduction of another route from Malta, this time to Leeds Bradford.

The airline said this was the 12th route it was offering from the island, which would start from next March 25. The flights will take place on Thursdays and Sundays.

Ryanair already offers low-cost routes from Malta to the UK (Edinburgh, Bristol and London-Luton), Spain (Madrid and Barcelona), Italy (Pisa, Bari, Venice and Trapani), Ireland (Dublin) and Sweden (Stockholm), all available for booking through .

To celebrate the new route, Ryanair is offering one million €5 seats for travel across its European network in October and November, available until midnight tonight.
