One of Malta's oldest brands, Master Squashes, has just undergone a complete re-branding exercise and is now out with a brand new and fresh look. Comprising a range of 21 different fruit squashes, light squashes, ice teas, milkshakes and a newly introduced cola flavour, the brand is now being launched under the name Just.
"This brand has been on the market for the past 62 years therefore such a re-branding exercise was a very important one for us because while wanting to give the brand a contemporary look, we wanted to keep sustaining the elements of quality, value and diverse range that are effectively the main strengths of our squashes," explained Louie Camilleri, general manager of master group.
"Our range of squashes is a major part of our non-alcoholic beverage business whose success throughout these years has turned this brand into a household name.
Probably the three most important milestones for the product are 1947, when the range of squashes started off with the production of orange, lemon and Orzata by Ġiużeppi and his mother; 2000, when the squashes and milkshakes started being packaged into PET instead of normal glass bottles and 2009 that constitutes the actual very important re-branding exercise."
