49 migrants from Ghana repatriated
A group of 49 migrants were repatriated yesterday to Ghana after travel documents were issued by their home country.
The migrants flew to Accra on an Air Malta chartered flight accompanied by security officers from the police force and the Armed Forces of Malta with these outnumbering the migrants two to one.
The expenses for the flight were shouldered by the EU in terms of the Immigration Pact.
So far this year, a total of 270 migrants have been repatriated to various countries.

Good job, but when are all the other illegal immigrants in Malta going to be repatriated or sent to Libya?

Dr Carmelo Mifsud Bonnici deserves our congratulations for sendiing back home a substantial number of illegal immigrants. However, his task will not end until the last illegal immigrant is sent away from our country.
