The MCA Summer League was completed with the remaining two matches over the weekend.
Runners-up Krishna beat Melita but tournament winners Marsa were almost surprised by Overseas in the second game.
Melita had Chris Naudi opening with a flying start and a run of 30 off 18 balls. His partner, Anthony Roberts, went on to make 34 runs.
Andy Lenard added 54 but Firoz was the only other batsman to make it into double figures, scoring 16 and playing the shot of the day, switch-hitting a ball for six.
Melita totalled 150 runs.
In reply, Andy Naudi scored 15 runs, Tosif 25, Kevin Krishna 15, Ganeesh 16 and Regan Hobbs was 17 not out. The match-winning innings came from Krishna's no.3 batsman, John Grima. He finished with a superb 51 not out.
In the other match, Marsa lost Angelo Spiteri in the first over and Mark G. Sacco was the next to go.
But Mike Caruana came to the team's rescue with a fine 54 and Ronnie Sacco added 19, Darren Grech 16 and Derek Ali had 26, including a massive six.
Marsa's total was 149 runs.
Overseas had Marsa in trouble, with the first wicket falling at 71. Joe Wilson was the first out, scoring 34. John Callus was next to go, his tally of 37 included five 4s and a 6.
But Overseas collapsed following the exits of Wilson and Callus as only Sean Duffy managed to make 10 runs. They were eventually bowled out for 130.
For Marsa, Caruana was the main wicket-taker with four.
Final standings: Marsa 43 points, Krishna 31, Melita 23, Overseas 20.
Next Saturday, the Chairman's XI play against the Captain's XI in a 50-over game, starting at 10.30 a.m.
