Airlines carrying mules should be fined

So another "mule", a drug transporter, has been caught. Hats off to the officers who spotted the mule.

But what is happening at foreign airports?

Why do we catch these people, but airports/airlines let them through? It is preposterous to think that if drugs manage to get on a plane, so can bombs, perhaps if the price is right. But you don't go to bosses with problems: you offer solutions. I think any airline that lands a mule carrying drugs in luggage should be fined hard for not being careful enough. Perhaps legislation is needed in this sector. Put the onus on the airlines and when they scream, they'll scream in the ears of the customs officials of the country from which the flight originated. Nip it in the bud. We don't need more foreign inmates in our prisons. I just don't want to feed them off my taxes.
