The Sur La Route De Malte yacht race reached its eighth leg in Malta, berthing at the Grand Hotel Excelsior marina in Marsamxett Harbour. A special celebratory event was held by the Excelsior to welcome the crews and organisers of this prestigious yachting event.

This 30-day yacht race includes 18 stopovers up and down the Tyrrhenian Sea, calling at ports in Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, Malta and Italy, before returning to the starting point of Le Lavandou, a port on the south coast of France.
