Police find man's corpse at Qawra

The police yesterday discovered a man's corpse in an apartment at Qawra.

They had been alerted in the afternoon to a strong smell coming out of the apartment in Barnaba Street.

The police established that the body was that of a 32-year-old Maltese man who had been dead for a number of days. They immediately launched investigations into the man's death.

Magistrate on duty Jacqueline Padovani was informed.
