U-14 ranking tournament at TCK

For the eighth consecutive year, Tennis Club Kordin, in conjunction with the Malta Tennis Federation and sponsors San Michel, will be hosting the international U-14 ranking tournament with a record participation of 106 boys and 68 girls coming from 17 different countries.

Among the high-ranking players are Stefano Napolitano, of Italy, and Slovenia's Jasmina Stor.

The Maltese boys taking part will be Patrick Georgiev (r.576), Raphael Sammut (r.739) Matthew Cassar Torregiani (r.739), Bernard Cassar Torregiani (r.855), Mark Schranz, Malik Atwair and Robert Montanaro Gauci.

Bettina Aquilina (r.870), Becky Hammett, Alexia Cassar, Maria Giorgia Farrugia Sacco, Naomi Zammit Ciantar, Steffie Gambin, Martina Cuschieri and Nicole Sapiano will play in the girls' events.

The qualifying rounds are scheduled for August 22 and 23 and the Main Draw matches get underway on August 24.
