Week three of the Middlesea Valletta Life National League at the SuperBowl saw okmalta.com hang on to their early lead, thanks to a full-point victory over Bank of Valletta.

Okmalta.com are tied on 22 points with Fina who also had a 100 per cent win over PharmaVet. In other matches, there was a majority win for champions Ramis against The Clan, and also for Salitos over HSBC.

The match between Turu's Knights and Globalair Travel ended 4-4.

Okmalta.com got off to a fine start, easily winning the opener 860-689 and were soon 4-0 up thanks to a solid 880-705 game two result.

The match was surely ok-malta.com's as they carried a huge 346-pin advantage into the last of the set which they also won, 752-715, to make sure of all eight points.

Fina also won their match 8-0 but okmalta.com's victory kept them in second place by a difference of 183 pins.

Fina took the opening game 769-862, and then doubled their lead with a 727-804 win in the second. Game three was a real thriller, Fina just snatching it by four pins (751-755).

Ramis improved to third place with their 6-2 win over ninth-placed The Clan, although it was the eventual losers who got off to the better start with a 761-720 initial game win.

Ramis hit back to go all square by taking game two 693-796, and then claimed the match with a 689-753 win in the deciding third game.
